In these rapidly changing times sharing stories is as important as ever and we at Writing By Writers are pleased to be offering something new: Readings By Writers (RxW)!

Many of our most beloved writers and faculty have had to limit or cancel their books tours because of COVID-19, and we know people are saddened they didn’t get to see them in person. So in the spirit of building community and boosting book sales, every Thursday evening 5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern, Pam Houston will host one of our favorite writers, (Paul Lisicky, Lidia Yuknavitch, Fenton Johnson, Ginger Gaffney, Rebecca Solnit, to name only a few…) over Zoom. 

The format will look like this: Pam will introduce the book and the writer, the writer will talk about/read from their latest offering, Pam will interview the writer, and then we will take questions from our Zoom audience. We will also tell you which independent bookstore the writer would most like you to support when you order a copy of their book. 

These Zoom Reading By Writers sessions will be free for anyone who wants to attend, and everyone is donating their time. Please mark your calendars, spread the word, and come join us on Thursday evenings, starting March 26th at 5pm PST/8pm EST.
